Blueberry lemon and lavender cheese tart

So remember the cake i made a couple days ago , i had cream cheese frosting for the cake that i never used

So tried to use it in dessert

  • 250 gm cream cheese at room temperature

  • 3/4 cup butter at room temperature

  • 1-2cups confectioners sugar

  • 1/8tsp salt

  • 1tsp vanilla

  • 1/2tsp coconut extract-can skip

  • Few fresh lavender leaves-optional

  • 2eggs room temperature

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 4tbsp all purpose flour

  • 11/2 cup blueberries

  • Tiny bit lavender colour if wanted

  • Juice and zest of half lemon

Cream butter till fluffy add cream cheese and vanilla and coconut extract add sugar and salt then eggs ,lavender flowers ,lemon juice and zest and flour and use a tooth pick dip in colour and mix in batter so not too much colour

Mix till combined

Fold in blueberry

Roll the pastry into size of ur tart pan

And then put in greased pan

Poke some holes in it i used pre made tender flake

Add the batter on top

I used left over dough to make circle and leaves, the desi aunty in me didnt want things to go to waste😂

Put the dish in a pan with water

Place in preheated oven at 400F after 25-30 min turn down to 350 and lightly cover with foil to prevent over browning

Bske another 20-25 minutes

Took 55 minutes total for me

If u dont want the browned look cook all the way at 350 and cover after 10-15 minutes

I wanted mine kinds basque style
