Best Tandoori chicken



#naan recipe has been shared and is in old post and highlights as well

#daal was also shared,only difference was I used mustard oil to cook this time and made in #handi

#tandoori was just delicious I follwed the recipe shared by a friend with minor modifications and really enjoyed it a lot,as recommended the two marinades made it just🔥❤️

I used two chickens and make scores /cuts in chicken

First marinade

2tsp salt ,8-10 cloves garlic minced and 2inch ginger minced and juice of two lemons mix well on chicken and let marinade 1 hour

2nd marinade is 1 cup hung yogurt(hung in cloth to drain fluids for 1/2-2hrs),2 tsp chilli powder,1tsp turmeric powder,11/4 tsp garam masala,1/2 tsp cumin powder,1/2 tsp orange food color,4 tbsp oil and mix it all and let marinate overnight in fridge or 1-2 hours outside if cooking same day

Baked at 375 till golden and slightly charred on some areas ,took 45 minutes for me

You can come ok in the pan on stove and char on flame if thats what you prefer

Squeeze a lemon on top when done

Enjoy with whatever you like
