A sweet and a savoury one!

So this dough is enough for two loaves so I decided to make a chocolate babka with crumble topping and an herb and garlic one ,
And to my surprise the garlic one finished first!
You can use any filling you like , for the filling ingredients use half, if you are going to make one sweet one, as I was planning on making two i measured for two loaves
Dough:
1 to 1 1/4 cups warm water
2 eggs
6 1/4 cups all purpose or bread flour
2 tablespoons instant yeast
1/2 cup (99g) sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
10 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/3 cup dry milk
Just put everything together and mix till just moistened the cover and leave 20 minutes now knead ,or use mixer to make soft dough thats not sticky too much
Put in an oiled pan cover and let rise 2-3 hours till doubles in size
Now divide in two parts to make two loaves
Filling for chocolate 1/2 cup dark chocolate
½ cup unsalted butter
¾ cup powdered sugar
½ cup plus 1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 -1tsp cinnamon powder
small pinch of salt
Melt butter on stove in your pan add chocolate and melt add in sugar and cocoa powder and mix, add cinnamon and remove from stove, it is not very moist thats normal
Filling for savoury garlic:
2tbsp butter soft
3cloves garlic minced roughly
Any dried and fresh herbs , I used sage , rosemary and ,thyme 2 tbsp total
Pinch of salt
Egg wash:one egg beaten with little salt
Crumble topping for chocolate (optional)
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 -1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup all purpose flour
Just mix it all up
Now roll that one half of dough into a large rectangle as long as you easily can ,Sprinkle the chocolate filling all over, roll into a log tightly and using sharp knife cut along the whole length of log longitudinally ( see video) and braid and tuck in ends
Put in lined loaf pan and add egg wash on top and sprinkle crumble if using,
Same process for the savoury one ,i chose to make that one round so further divided dough and made two rectangles and made into a round bread(video) but no idea what I was doing😂, put on egg wash on that too
Now cover them both and let rise another 40-60 minutes
Bake uncovered at 300F for 30 minutes
Then cover with foil tightly and bake another 25-35 minutes
Wait to cool a bit to slice
Who am I kidding, just eat it !!!
